Snow Day!!
Madison's daycare closed due to the weather today. Willie and I were glad to get the call this morning that our offices are also closed today! Looks like the perfect day to stay inside! We only have ice so far - I'll post some pics of the grass and bushes. Snow is on the way, we're anxious for it to get started. The sooner it starts, the sooner it will be done, right?! I can't imagine that our offices will close 2 days in a row, so let's get this show started!!

Luckily, we were able to get Madison back to the Dr yesterday before the storm really hit. After a chest x-ray they determined that she still has pneumonia from a few weeks ago. We got another round of the strong antibiotic & will wait to see if it works this time.

January 2010
We finished the semester at The Little Gym this month. The kids put on a "show" and got medals. We signed up for another semester since Madison likes it so much. It's also a nice break in our weekly routine. Madison went bowling for the first time this month (Kayden's 6th birthday party) and had her first sleepover (5 kids, ages 2,3,4,6 and 8!) The boys played Guitar Hero with Willie & thought his 1978 Lego set looked a little different than theirs :) The girls played house and colored a lot.
Madison is recovering from her recent visit at St. Louis Children's Hospital. She was admitted for a night with pneumonia (12th time!) and RSV. We finished the antibiotic for pneumonia yesterday & she's doing fine for now. We have scheduled an appointment with a Pediatric Pulminologist at Children's Hospital on March 30th. They will be doing another chest X-ray when she's not sick to determine if there is an abnormality on the lung that is causing the constant sicknesses. If that is clear, they'll be doing a nose biopsy to see the cilliaries (sp?) that are supposed to keep the bad germs out & make sure those are formed properly. We have already checked her immune system which was fine & also ruled out Cystic Fibrosis. Hopefully one of the tests on March 30th will give us more information & help find a way to prevent all the infections she continues to get. Dr said there is still a chance of plain bad luck, but that's some BAD luck!
On a sad note, we lost our cousin Kaylynn Browning on New Years Day. Kaylynn was only 22 years old & lost her struggle with lung disease. We were fortunate enough to spend Christmas Day with Kaylynn and the rest of the Hull family the week prior. She was a prominent part of our family and we're blessed to have had the time that we did with her. She would always tell me she was going to "ride a cow", but knew it was really a horse. She loved to tease & we're going to miss her.
